Rummy Three Card Poker 4.1

Vegas Three Card Rummy is an enjoyable variation of poker that incorporates elements from the popular card game Gin Rummy and the casino card game Three Card Poker. The game involves playing directly against the Dealer, with three-card hands dealt from a standard 52-card deck. Unlike traditional card games, the objective of Vegas Three Card Rummy is to obtain fewer points than the Dealer.

The game begins with the Player placing an Ante bet. Then, three cards are dealt face up to the Player, while three cards are dealt face down to the Dealer. All cards are ranked based on their poker value, with Aces always considered low. Numbered cards (2-10) hold their face value, while Jacks, Queens, and Kings are each worth ten points. A pair or a triple of any rank counts as zero points, and a two-card or three-card suited run also holds a value of zero points. However, it's important to note that if a hand contains cards that could form either a pair or a run, the lowest possible value is counted. In case both totals are equal, preference is given to the run over the pair.

Once the Player has seen their cards, they must decide whether to Fold or Raise. Folding means abandoning the hand and losing the Ante wager completely. On the other hand, Raising allows the play to continue, with the amount of the Raise matching the original Ante bet.

The Dealer then reveals their cards only after the Raise bet has been made. To qualify, the Dealer's hand must have a total of 20 points or fewer. If the Dealer fails to qualify, regardless of the total points obtained by the Player, they will win even money on the Ante bet while receiving a "Push" for the Raise bet (meaning no winner). If both the Dealer and Player hands are of equal value, both the Ante and Raise wagers are returned as a Push.

If the Player's hand has a value lower than the Dealer's qualifying hand, the Player wins and receives even money on the Ante bet. The Raise wager pays out according to the Pay Table, with payouts ranging from 4-to-1 for a zero-point hand, 3-to-1 for a value of one to five points, and 1-to-1 for six or more points.

Additionally, there is an optional Bonus Bet that can be placed before each deal. This bet will automatically lose if the Player's hand has a total of thirteen or more points. Otherwise, it earns bonus payouts based on different point values. For instance, a hand value of eleven or twelve points receives a payout of 4-to-1, while a value of seven to ten points earns even money. A point value ranging from one to six provides a payout of 2-to-1. Furthermore, a total of zero is worth 25-to-1, and a suited A-2-3 combination holds a value of 100-to-1.
